What is an RSS Feed? 

An RSS Feed contains frequently updated content published by a Web site, usually used for news and blogs.

How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed in Windows Internet Explorer?

  1. Click the RSS Feeds RSS Icon button to view feeds on the Web page.
  2. Click Subscribe to this feed.
  3. Type a name for the feed and select the folder to create the feed in.
  4. Click the Add to Favorites Bar check box.
  5. Click Subscribe.
  6. To view subscribed feeds, click the browser's Favorites button, then click the Feeds tab.

How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed in Mozilla Firefox?

  2. Click the Always use Live Bookmarks to subscribe to feeds check box.
  3. Click Subscribe Now.

At 2201 hrs 10/06/2013, Escondido Fire units were dispatched to a Wildland fire in the area of Seven Oaks and El Norte Pkwy. The first fire units arrived on scene and found the fire to be about 1-2 acres on the hill side South of McLeod park. An Incident Command was set up and two Divisions were established with units also standing by at the Best Western Hotel incase fire brands started to impact the area. A second alarm was requested and responded to the incident with most units being assigned to the two divisions. Fire is under investigation by Escondido Fire  Investigators.
