On Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at 1423 hours the Escondido Fire Department responded to a reported garage fire in the 1400 block of N. Broadway. Upon arrival firefighters found one detached garage well involved in fire. Fire crews performed an aggressive attack on the fire and were able to confine the fire to unit of origin however, there was some smoke damage to the adjoining unit. There were no injuries to report and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
